Welcome to the Day 2 of Florida-Michigan week! You've got questions, we've (maybe) got answers.
Harold Meyerson writes in today's Washington Post that the outrage over the seating of Florida and Michigan has really only come after the elections were held and Senator Clinton had a need for the delegates.
Also - lots of interest in the timeline that I put on Tuesday, so I will feature an abbreviated version of the post on the main page for the rest of the week.
I keep hearing count the vote. My question is for all the people in MI and FL who stayed home knowing that they would not be counted or names that were left off the ballot how do you count the TRUE vote?

Sent to DNC - not that it will be read, but was cathartic to write...
As the RBC heads into debate this weekend I feel compelled to write as a party member. Michigan (my home state) and Florida party leaders knowingly broke rules of our party. The contests in those states were held with the public having an understanding of the penalties of those decisions (namely voiding the results). Democrats, as the party of working class Americans, understand that many of our members have jobs and families that require our time - many chose not to participate in the elections in those states as the votes wouldn't count and not all candidates were represented. Further, candidates did not actively engage the electorate of either state thus leaving those voters without all of the information necessary to make an informed decision. Again, all of this came about because party leadership knowingly violated our party's rules.
If we do not abide by our own rules, how can we expect our members and the American people to govern the country when we seem incapable/intimidated by enforcing our own rules.
