Political Funnies
Ending the week on a light note - Chris Cillizza notes the battle for voter's hearts and minds isn't just at the ballot box - it's also at the cable box.
Recently, John Stewart spoke with Superdelegate Tom Daschle and Stephen Colbert huddled with Superdelegate Donna Brazille.
Also: if you missed any of this presidential primary season, here it is in 7 minutes. And former presidential candidate Bill Richardson is still making commercials.
I love your blog, Mr. Super, and I really appreciate the service you perform. However, I think I should tell you--it's Jon Stewart, not John.

Bill is my governor and loves making commercials. He's being doing those DWI spots for a few years now.
But the big story here is the NM Dem party chair Brian Colon endorsed Obama. Couple that with Bill and Brian maneuvering an "uncommitted" person into the add-on delegate slot and the HRC camp is about to have a massive coronary. (OK its mostly Wertheimer) Big Bill has essentially told the the whiners that Colon acted within the rules. This is probably a little payback on Bills part for all the grief he got for being a "Judas" and throwing his support to Obama.
Bill may not have been the greatest Presidential candidate but he definitely has NM state politics mastered.

Susan,
I note that your link to the Clinton "Nuclear Option" is under a Blog Post about Political Funnies....
The continued strong arming by the Clinton camp is why I can't stomach her. I can't wait until the SDs put Obama over the top--hopefully soon after May 6--so we can jettison the Clintons and get on with the general.

Naturally the campaign that employed the self-admitted "kitchen sink attack", and then the "Tonya Harding strategy" .. would eventually resort to "The Nuclear Option". Lovely imagery for the future of the Democratic Party.
And you know there has to be a plan beyond even this one, just in case.
Spoiler: It's called "The Final Solution".
